# How do you pronounce manlicher? (Austrian)

Oswald used a Carcano. Although frequently called a “Mannlicher-Carcano”, the Carcano used a Mauser style action rather than a Mannlicher. It _does_ have charging clip setup similar to the Mannlicher but was Italian not Austrian.
