I’ve always used EM-pee-SIMZ, but that’s just me. You could try just treating it as a word, but then you have a horrible triple-consonant at the beginning. Maybe just expand the acronym and extract the main noun, “Stuff.” Or drop the first two letters and call it “Sims.” I’ve never been to a Dopefest, which I suppose is the only time it would matter. Any other ideas? Is this too M or too P? Or both? Probably, yes. ---

Actually, the “M” is silent, and if you are refering to a single thread, the last plural “S” is left off, leaving you with “psi”. ---
