No avatars on this board, and you can’t include pics in your posts. You can however link to sites which contain pics.

You don’t on this messageboard.
I think it has to do with the amount of webspace that would take up. The SDMB already takes up a lot of space (I think) and pictures would take up a whole lot more…

I believe The Dope™ has those options disabled.
We don’t need them anyways, and I would rather save bandwidth for more posts.
