How do you reduce spot & seasonal dryness?

I laughed out loud for a full minute after clicking on this link. I’m still chuckling. My SO is going “What? What’s so funny?”

thank you, thank you, thank you.

That’s OK, we’re practically sisters anyway.

I also have some Bag Balm for my feet. I don’t like the smell much, though.

If you do come back, it’s not quite as horrific as you think. I mean, there aren’t all muscles showing or anything like that. Still pretty sad and heartbreaking, but those little babies can be fighters some times.

One more thing. Has anyone heard of the old wives’ remedy of lemon juice for the elbow-whitening thing?

Vitamin E oil. My hands were having a really rough winter until my mom suggested vitamin E oil. Go buy a little bottle of gel capsules and poke a hole in one. Squeeze the stuff out on to the dry area and rub it in well. It’ll leave a thick residue and noticeably bad smell but you can easily remedy that with a regular hand lotion that smells nice. Best part: you only need to do it once, maybe twice a day. Worked like a charm for me, and my knuckles were in bad way before.

Another vote for the “wearing gloves to bed” method, and for Eucerin (or actually the much cheaper CVS version of Eucerin). The gloves not only keep the moisturizer on your hands, they enable you to pull back the covers, switch off the light, etc. without leaving a trail of grease stains in your wake.

For fingertips, I’ve found pure aloe vera gel helpful. As bonuses, it isn’t greasy once it dries, and isn’t perfumed.
