German: _grosser/dicker/breiter Arsch_ (big/fat/wide ass)
If you prefer a single word, _Fettarsch_ (lardass) would be the most popular term in German IMO.

In French: gros cul.
To expand, \*\*mattmcl \*\*having given us the rude version, here are some other versions in French:

Grosses Fesses. - Big but cheeks or big bum. bit more polite.

Gros Derrière. - Big rear - bit more polite still.
PS, any chance you can work Grand Teton Mountain or the Grand Teton national park in there? I always get a chuckle out of the fact that a nation that has a collective hissy-fit over Janet Jackson’s wardrobe malfunction has a federal landmark that means “Big Tits” (with exactly that level of vulgarity, no less.)

(she gave me a literal interpretation of “big butt” instead of the idiomatic route…)

My Chinese co-worker called one of the bosses “Fay Lo” which roughly translates to “Fat boy”.

Heh. I was actually giving this a lot of thought, and I’ve realized something - Koreans don’t really talk about people’s asses. Duck butt doesn’t translate directly to big ass, but it means an ass that sticks out so you look like a duck from behind when you walk (i.e., you’re waddling).

Amusingly, there is also a term for one butt-cheek being bigger than the other (jjak-goong-deng-ii).
I think that “nalgas” and “culo” are both similar in Spanish - nalgas meaning “buttcheeks” and “culo” meaning “ass”, so “culo grande” would literally mean “big ass”. “Nalgas grandes” would be “big buttcheeks”.

It’s been a while since I took Spanish though. Those are literal translations which might not match the vernacular.
More like “culo gordo” and like **Colibri** said, the person who has it is a _culón_ (or _culona_, but if it’s a lastname it wouldn’t change gender). In some areas, referring to a person as being “un culo gordo” or having “el culo muy gordo” is calling them lazy.

And if you’re talking about a woman and trying to avoid unladylike language, “amplias caderas” (lit. ample hips - definitely above “wide” in the size scale) and a woman with wide or ample hips is _caderona_, which sounds pretty similar to the lastname Calderón (lit. big kettle).

Forgot!

In Catalan, a big butt is “un cul gros,” and the owner of it is “un culgros.” Yeah, it’s just the same words strung together. The stress goes on _gros_, with more stress in the case when it’s a single word.
