# How do you stop videos from autostarting in Facebook?

Basically, what the title says: When I go to Facebook, as soon as a video scrolls into view, it starts up. How do I stop this?

Settings\>Videos\>Turn off Auto Play.

Go into the Settings and find “Video.” There’s an option to turn autoplay off.

If you want to turn off autoplay everywhere, get the add-on “Flashblock.” It will let you click on an icon to play only the videos you want.

Another vote for Flashblock. And Adblock. These two extensions/add-ons will make your browsing life much better.
