There’s one spot in the US where four states come together at the corners, it’s imaginatively named ‘Four Corners’. My husband wants to go out with one limb in each state, just for the massive jurisdiction problems it’d cause. He’s been told that jurisdiction will probably end up with whichever state official shows up last - the previous three will already have nudged his body OUT of their state! ---

Don’t know about you lot, but I ticked the “immortality” box on the form they give you waiting in the pre- birth queue… But just in case there is a paperwork snafu and I have to go anyway, **elbows** idea is nice. In the floods about a year ago here there was a mother with two young sons trapped in a car about to be washed away. Man in a boat comes to the rescue and he reaches out for the twelve year old boy, who waves him away and says “Take my brother first”. Younger brother is pulled out and rescued just as the floodwater washes the vehicle with mother and brave son away to their deaths. Twelve year old kid was more heroic than I’ll ever be.
