# how do you windows users put up with this?

My favorite game is called Internet; it’ll run pretty much on any machine that’s come out in the last decade or so.

Apps? Good enough is current enough; I don’t want whistles & bells when all I need is a buzzer.

I’m sure you’re right. My main experience with the PC-bashing phenomenon occurs right here on these message boards, and on a few other forums that i visit around the web.

I have no doubt that plenty of PC users get stupid hard-ons over their equipment. I think they are just as lame as the Mac people i’ve been criticizing in this thread.

As just another amusing example of what i’ve been talking about, check out the OP in [this thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=305210) over in IMHO, and then look at the _very first response_ he gets.

Yeah, they are. And there are a lot of them. If you were a Mac user, you’d undoubtedly encounter your fair share of them, as I have. Neither side should get all high-and-mighty and sanctimonious about what the “other” side is doing, since there are plenty of pains-in-the-asses to go around—from both sides.
