# How does crack compare to powder cocaine?

I assume there are dopers with extensive experience of both. How does crack compare to stamdard insufflated cocaine?

(please discuss in a way that is acceptable under board rules)

I have never sampled crack, although I did try coke in my misspent youth. From friends who have tried both, the “rush” from crack is much, much more intense - but also over much faster.

I have tried both meth and “ice”, which is to meth what crack is to cocaine. The very first time I tried ice I immediately wanted more. I LOVED it.

I never touched it again.

Crack affects you several times more powerfully and several times more quickly, then it’s over. It’s also cheaper if I’m not mistaken.

My observations of others is that crack produces a quick intense euphoria, then turns the user into a lethargic retard. Cocaine makes the user act like an asshole for a while, then he starts getting tired after a while. If they do some more at different points along the way, it just resets the cycle. Free base seemed something closer to crack.

Thanks to all the people who’ve answered so far… but your answers are no use to me, sorry 🙂

Anyone dopers actually done a load of crack? I’ve done a load of coke in my younger years, but I was a bit too young, too white… and well, too British, to do crack. Just interested what I was missing.
