# how does Fark have a link to a future staff report?

Over at fark I noticed [this link](http://www.straightdope.com/mailbag/mcamelspider.html). I didn’t remember seeing this article on the front page and then noticed that it is dated April 1, 2003. Do you guys have a deal with them or something? or do they have a time machine?

Members of The Straight Dope Mailing List get advance warning of upcoming Staff Reports. Since the actual pages are put up ahead of time, it’s quite possible for someone to have posted the URL over there.

I always get confused by the Fark thing too…this isn’'t the first time they’ve linked to "future"SD posts. I keep thinking I should join the mailing list, but I LIKE waiting and seeing a new article every day of the week. Gives me something to look forward to 🙂
