They’re examples of different choices leading to different outcomes. That’s not sexism.

Assertion not supported by evidence. You could just as easily say that society rewards women by allowing them time to raise their newborn children while dad has to sit in his cubicle all day.

Cite that Yiannopoulos opposes extended family care for men and women both because he wants to reinforce society norms that let them shift the burden of family life to women.

Yeah. _A_ gap. Not a massive 78 cents on the dollar gap, which is Milo’s point.

I don’t love him. I occasionally find him amusing, even though we disagree on about 95% of everything. I especially find it amusing when whiny SJW crybabies freak out disrupt his lectures by acting like lunatics because they’re “triggered” by what he has to say. You’re just interpreting my defence of _some_ of his claims as “singing his praises” because you’ve already decided you hate him and, as such, you can’t stomach the possibility that he might not always be wrong.

Depending on how much I dislike my neighbour, I would, indeed, find that quite amusing as well.

I’m sure he is right about a lot of things. I am willing to bet he knows much more accurately what he had for breakfast than me or any ‘SJW’.

Doesn’t matter. The man is an insult to journalism and violates some of its most basic ethical tenets. This from a guy who manage to aquire the adoration of a group that claims to want more journalistic ethics. He writes horrific hit pieces on people he decides he doesn’t like. His sources are demonstratively poor (including Encyclopedia Dramatica).

Your praise of him ‘annoying the SJWs’ is a classic example of cruel conservative humor, using that as a mode of praise reminds of how so many Republicans were saying they how much they liked Trump because they thought he annoyed liberals, then woke up to found the GOP collectively shit the bed.

I would never conflate SJWs with liberals. In fact, one of the things that’s so objectionable about them is how illiberal they are. It amuses me when Yiannopoulos makes them flip out, but that doesn’t mean I think he’s a good guy. As I said, he and I are pretty much polar opposites politically.

Why, yes, it does.

At the least, I find so many of the responses to so-called SJWs to be so out of proportion to the “offense” that I find myself skeptical of even the occasional story that DOES appear to paint “SJWs” in a bad light.

Milo didn’t just “get under the skin” of the so-called “SJW’s.” He contributed to the harassment of hundreds of people and does his share of harassing himself. Leslie Jones got driven off twitter last night by the sexist racist hordes that follow this dweeb. Please don’t come here and defend that shit.

Yiannopoulos (I’m just going to call him MY from now on) isn’t responsible for the actions of the people who follow him on Twitter. He hasn’t encouraged anyone to harass Leslie Jones, and neither he or I would defend that harassment.

I’m just trying to explain what I think drives MY’s appeal. Fact is, there’s a growing number of people who think [this](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZIpkdusnIkE) is an appropriate way to respond to arguments they find “offensive”. MY stands up to cry-bullies like that, and a lot of people like that about him. That they like that about him doesn’t necessarily imply they like anything else about him, although they might to greater or lesser degrees.

Randi Harper, according to your own links and by your own definitions as I understand them, is a serial harasser. I’m not going to be crying salty tears into my morning coffee because Milo decided to give her a taste of her own medicine. The least I can say about her, based on the evidence _you_ have presented, is that if Milo is an internet villain, so is she.

> [@Banquet Bear](#):

You said:

_“Milo didn’t just “get under the skin” of the so-called “SJW’s.” He contributed to the harassment of hundreds of people and does his share of harassing himself. Leslie Jones got driven off twitter last night by the sexist racist hordes that follow this dweeb.”_

You left open the clear implication that Milo somehow encouraged his followers to harass Leslie Jones. This is completely untrue. I was just pointing that out in case any readers got the wrong idea.

Actually, as I’m sure you already know it wasn’t “fucking five seconds”. It was [an hour and fifteen minutes](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ffOPImz4Rp0) of relentless, abusive heckling. Most people would, I imagine, regard ceaseless and belligerent abuse of the ‘Heckler’s Veto’ (directed, incidentally, not at Milo, but at a mild-mannered female philosophy professor) as bullying.

> That’s one of the big reasons that so many “family values” assholes and just sexist assholes, like Milo, are against extended family care for men and women both. They want to reinforce society norms that let them shift the burden of family life to the women.

What you’re describing are choices that women make, which you apparently don’t approve of and don’t think they should be allowed to make.

Men don’t “dump” childcare onto women. Men in the West do not have the power to enslave women and force them to be housewives. Lots of women _like_ taking care of their children and would rather spend time with them than in an office. Women generally have more nurturing instincts than men. (Sorry this this bit of reality conflicts with your ideology.) You can’t change this unless you’re going to have the state forcibly rip children away from their mothers and put them into daycare centers.

Furthermore, men putting more time and effort into their careers is largely a burden. Most women want to marry a guy who makes equal or more than them. Men put more effort into making money partly because it improves their chances with women. You can’t change this unless you’re going to force women to date, sleep with and marry men who are unemployed or underemployed.

Also, I reject the idea that earning money in and of itself is a privilege. _Spending_ money is the real privilege. Most wealthy men have wives at some point. Their wives do not have to work if they don’t want to, they have just as much access to that wealth as the men and more time to enjoy it. According to the media, women control most household spending in the US. (I admit I’m having trouble finding the original source on this.) Wealthy men also spend money on their children, 50% of whom are female, and leave them inheritances.

Basically what you’re saying is that people shouldn’t be allowed to make their own choices because they often choose to live in traditional families which your ideology doesn’t approve of. You want the government to break up those families, send the women off to work and the kids off to daycare centers to be raised by strangers.

By the way, do you think parental leave from work for both men and women is practical in every industry? You’re typing these messages into a computer. Will you equally pay for a computer that’s much slower than the competition because the engineers who designed it took a year off of parental leave and missed an entire generation of processor design?
