Deglaze with white wine. Add worcestershire, tabasco, and thyme and cook about another minute. Deglaze with sherry. Add paprika, hot water and lobster base, mix well. Stir in tomato paste and bay leaves. Simmer for 10 minutes. Whisk in heavy cream and butter Bring to a boil. Add lobster, simmer until thoroughly cooked. ---

Snarky response: Nothing. He doesn’t represent any significant larger problem on the right. Even if there have been multiple instances, resulting in dead brown people, by assholes like this, and they may be increasing in frequency, they are not explicitly cheered on or supported by major or significant elements of conservative thought or philosophy in America, therefore it is entirely unrelated to mainstream politics. This has nothing to do with the election of Trump, or Trump’s rhetoric, or broader fear and hatred of Muslims/immigrants/foreigners/brown people. Even though such violence has resulted in many deaths, it’s not nearly as big of a problem as the occasional violent (but almost never deadly) riots associated with protests against a few right-wing provocateurs. Couple cups of flour, mixed with a bit of salt and pepper; maybe some parsley for aesthetics. I like to add turmeric to my flour mix, but that’s not a common one. Heat a few inches of oil in a saute pan, or break out your fryer, if you have one. Toss the cut squid in the flour, then cook in the pan for 45 seconds to a minute. It is very easy to overcook it, then it’s a bit rubbery. Let it drain on some paper towels for a minute, and serve with marinara sauce. Marinara Sauce: A can of stewed tomatoes, 2 tablespoons of tomato paste Some chopped fresh parsley A clove of garlic, minced Dried oregano, salt, and ground black pepper 1/4 cup olive oil 1/3 cup finely diced onion 1/2 cup white wine Mix tomatoes, tomato paste, chopped parsley, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper in food processor until smooth. Saute the finely chopped onion in olive oil for a couple minutes over medium-high heat, until they turn translucent. Mix in the blend from the previous step and then the white wine. Stir and simmer for 30. ---
