I have been told by several people that I should model for life drawing, how do I get into this?

How should I prepare to become one, poses, being still, etc. What should I expect and how much should I expect to earn?

I’m thinking I’ll just contact the universities and art classes in the area, but is there a database I could become a part of? I’m in QLD, Australia.

I’d appreciate any personal experiences.
