My 1st Communion and Confession were in grade school (2nd or 3rd Grade) I wasn’t Confirmed until 10th Grade. (Catholic from MA FWIW)
Done!
They still go at it. The RCC is supportive of marital sex, so long as the participants realize that it’s actually a three-way with the risen Jesus and the Holy Ghost gets to watch.
As for the sacraments, I’ve never heard it called “Penance”. Always, it’s been “Reconciliation.” And for that matter, it’s officially “the Sacrament of the Eucharist”, not “Communion.” Apparently, this is such a common argument that the Catechism even has a section devoted to it.
As for order, the Catechism also says that Confirmation comes second and Eucharist third. Baptism is, of course, first.
I’m not Polycarp, but I’ll weigh in. Anglican clergymen who enter the Catholic church and wish to minister as priests do indeed have to be ordained in a Catholic ceremony.
Just noticed your answer, when UDS posted his hence upping the thread(thanks to both)
Now, I’ve been unable to find what “traditio porrectionis” meant. Could you elaborate?
