# How does one go about getting something stickied?

I was hoping [this thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=529503) could be stickied, seeing as it’s something we’ll probably use every 2 months, and starting a new thread each time would be unfair to those whose spots were missed. Plus, it would make things easier.

So is there, like, a process to that, or what?

Fastest way is probably to PM or email a mod for the appropriate forum.

Those would both work. Reporting the post and explaining that you’d like it stickied, and why, would also do the trick.
