Jack is a reefer pusher who is keen on getting children hooked on marijuana at Mae’s apartment - which is a moloko bar for wayward nadsats dancing to the zvooks of a piano player eemyaed Hot Fingers Peronie. Mae is a beautiful coke-addict who thinks the whole scheme is dangerous, but Jack has something over on her and she fillies the eegra just fine. Bill and Mary, who were once so happy together, start to fall to lomticks because Bill droogs with like Jack and has started smoking marijuana, O my brothers. Bill decides to spend more raz at Mae’sapartment while Mary stays away and itties to filly tennis instead of dancing and peeting at Mae’s As it turns out odin of Mae’s other regulars, this youngish devotchka with like nice legs eemyaed Blanche, seems to be attracted to Bill. This pretty devotchka and Bill do some dancing before they itty to the bedroom for a tomtick of the starry in-out in-out. Of course they think everything’s real dobby because they’re stoned. Meanwhile Ralph, this blonde molodoy chelloveck, sits in in a chair smoking marijuana in Mae’s living room smecking like he’s bezoomny. As it turns out, Mary is still in love with like Bill and decides to gatecrash the party at Mae’s because she’s razdraz at him for being there round the clock. Plus, she’s annoyed because some millicents showed at her house asking about her car, which her bratty and Jack used to tolchock a starry chelloveck in the street a few days before. She lies to the police and hurries to Mae’s. She gets there and Ralph, who thinks of himself as a real lover, propositions her. He cracks the party and tells the other nadsats in the room to ookadeet so he can check out Mary’s groodies. Mary gives him the cold shoulder. Ralph decides to smoke some marijuana and pass it as an everyday cancer to relax this devotchka. Mary smokes some and gets high, but the banks still closed for Ralph. At the same raz Bill and Blanche have finished the starry in-out in-out and are coming down from their reefer high. Of course they both feel guilty for engaging in the old in-out, in-out before getting married. Bill ookadeeties the bedroom only to find Ralph trying to rape his girlfriend. A drat nachinats. Jack, who was in the kitchen with Mae, slooshies the drat and decides to tolchock bill with like the sharries of his pooshka. The pooshka itties off during the drat, Jack smacks Bill on the gulliver and clops him out cold. We find Mary got oobivatted on the couch by the stray bullet. Jack osooshes down the pistol and puts it in Bills rooks. He tells Blanche and Ralph and the other nadsats to ookadeet. A starry chelloveck in the lower apartment tips off the police and they find the pooshka with like Bills rooks all over it. Bill gets arrested and gets tried for Mary’s oobivat. He’s found guilty. Meanwhile, Jack has Blanche and Ralph ookadeet and tells them to govoreet nothing about the oobivat. After a few weeks Ralph itties bezoomny from the marijuana and shlagas Jack with like a fireplace poker. The police arrive again and arrest everyone. Blanche decides to make veshches real dobby for Bill and gives the Judge a confession. She’s still not happy with like the whole affair and suicides by jumping from the court domy okno. The Judge suspends the verdict for Bill but makes him sit through Ralph’s trial. We learn Ralph is permanently bezoomny from the marijuana and is sent to spend the rest of his years in a domy for the criminally bezoomny. The End ---

IF you want to see this movie REAL bad but can still wait until April, here’s good news for you from the Mystery Science Theatre 3000 fan page: MIKE GETS “REEFER MADNESS” We can confirm a report on the [DVDFile.com](http://DVDFile.com) web site that Mike Nelson will be contributing audio commentary for the upcoming Legend Films DVD release of REEFER MADNESS, which has been completely remastered and is scheduled to be released on April 20. My friends John and Larry Gassman used to have a radio show on KPCC, on which they would play old time radio shows [(much like the kind touted on this website)](http://www.sperdvac.org/), until KPCC went to an all talk format. On their very last broadcast, they played a show called [“The Whisperer”](http://www.n8elq.com/Whisperer.html). Click on the link if you want to know what this show was about. The concept was so painfully bad I can’t bring myself to type it out. Anyway, the plot of the show they played was that the Syndicate had issued orders to a top operator to recruit the teenagers in a certain town into becoming marijuana addicts. The operation went down sounding like a radio version of _Reefer Madness_ (except that the hit-and-run was really a put-up job, --the “victim” was not seriously injured; he was in cahoots with the leader of the operation – intended to provide blackmail leverage against the fresh-faced boy). Several months later, as I watched _Reefer Madness_ for the first time, I was struck by the similarity of the two storylines. ---

Hmmm I seem to remember a review from the 1960’s or 70’s that mentions that Jack thinks the “Mary Jane” is a stoned-cold gas !! That is until Jack goes flaky during a bad trip and ends up totally psychedelicisized. That’s the name of that tune and you can take that to the bank !! Since I have never seen the movie, someone told me this is the ending: They eventually make it to a beach, they see the Statue of Liberty buried in the mud and they realize they are back on Earth. ---
