@DrDeth , you have been [previously instructed](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/craigs-list-cashiers-check-scam-how-does-it-work/919157/17) not to give this precise advice, on the grounds that it is dangerous and possibly illegal. That makes this a violation of moderator instruction, which earns you an official Warning.
