# How does this tire balancer work?

In [this video](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=skY6qvzpNXI), you can see that the tire is balanced because the marbles roll away from the heavy part of the tire (where the magnet is) to balance it out.

Now here’s what I would think would happen. The heaviest part of the tire would be pulled the most by centrifugal force so it would be pulled a little further away from the center of rotation while the opposite side of the tire would be pulled in a little. This would mean that the heaviest part of the tire would end up being “downhill” in a sense and all the marbles should roll to that part. Why isn’t that happening?
