# How does W. reconcile war with his Christian beliefs?

Bush, like most modern Christians, actually worship Lucifer, who lives in the Pentagon. When Jesus comes back to Earth, they are gonna nuke the poor bastard. Molecular crucifixion.

Hi, **Skid Row** -
The New International Version translates the commandment in Exodus 20:13 as “You shall not murder”. So does the New American Standard Bible, The Message translation, The Amplified Bible, the New Living Translation, the English Standard Version, the New King James Version, the Contemporary English version, Young’s Literal Translation, and the New International Version for the UK. [All these are online at the Bible Gateway.](http://www.biblegateway.com/cgi-bin/bible?language=english&passage=Exodus+20%3A13&version=NIV)
I am not familiar with Cornerstone Bookstores, but you may want to talk with them about getting a few of these translations. Some of them are excellent.

So bin Laden really was doing Allah’s work by crashing the plane into the Pentagon? Holy Crap!!! Was Lucifer hurt on Sept 11?

Very good suggestion. Sorry if I sounded snarky in my earlier post. I guess that when someone does not belive in God or the Bible the entire subject is fair game for cynicism if not outright ridicule. I used to feel that way. I should not allow myself to get sucked into getting a thread off-topic. Forgive me please.
Perhaps I shall start my own thread when I have more time to post answers, I generally can only hit the internet from work and as I believe that if I started a thread titled “I believe 100% in the literal word of the Bible” (and I do) it would generate more responses that even a libertarian thread might 😉 .
These days I am working 10 hours a day and we just found out we have a baby on the way so my ‘board time’ will be less than optimal.
And now, back to your thread, which is already in progress.
