# How expensive a watch do I need to buy?

Slightly off topic, but if you ever need a watchband, seriously consider shopping online. I got [this beauty](http://www.watch-band-center.com/watchstrap-p16888h887s1574-Watch-band-titanium-.html) for my [Ironman](http://glennmoller.com/gpics/timex_datalink1.jpg) and even though it cost almost as much as the watch originally did, the titanium matches the case well enough for my non-existent fashion sense and beats the hell out of [my original idea.](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=677216)

I got used to the weight of my stainless Timex T56371 for several years (it’s the watch from _Stranger Than Fiction_), but for Christmas last year my fiancee bought me the Citizen Skyhawk AT, which is titanium, and I swear sometimes I forget I have it on.
