4 km to a litre at a gas station, and 14 km to three litres at a grocery store. The nice thing is that it is a lovely drive past several mesas. ---

314 feet door-to-door. Another corner store at 917 feet, and Safeway is just over a quarter-mile. Looking at Google Maps, I think it’s actually farther from Safeway’s front door to its milk fridge than it is from my front door to the corner store. ---

There’s a little Mom-n-Pop type store about half a mile away - they might sell milk, tho I’ve never been inside. There’s also a convenience store about 3 miles to the north, and a real grocery store between 6 and 7 miles to the south. There’s also a grocery about 4 miles from where I work, in the wrong direction, but still closer than driving the 6-7 miles south on the way home from work. ---

The closest place is a little corner convenience store, which is about .3 miles from my door. I don’t know if they sell gallons, however. If I need a gallon, the closest decent supermarket is a mile and a half from me. There is one closer, but it’s kind of depressing. Pennsylvania sets minimum prices for milk, so a gallon at Sheetz is going to cost the same as a gallon at Giant. Where I buy the milk is a function of where I happen to be at the time and how badly I need it. Robin ---

There’s a grocery store less than a mile from my apartment, but I’m not sure it’s open 24 hours. There are three or four 7-11s within a mile or so if I need milk at 2:00 in the morning. ---

Within about 2 blocks of my apartment, there are at least 6 dépanneurs (convenience stores), 2 grocery stores and an SAQ. One of the grocery stores is pretty much opposite the nearest dep, so we tend to go there for milk (and most weekday groceries). We also have at least 2 pharmacies within the same radius. No gas stations, though. ---

Google Maps says it’s .4 miles or a 7-minute walk to the 24-hour grocery store. Used to have a convenience store closer, but they closed a few months ago. ---
