With the relative success of [How far do you live from the nearest state (country) line?](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=648273) started yesterday, I was wondering who lives closest to [Geographic center of the contiguous United States](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geographic_center_of_the_contiguous_United_States) which we can take to mean [Lebanon, Kansas](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lebanon,_Kansas) for the purpose of this thread. From my hometown of LaGrange, GA to Lebanon, KS it’s 1097.3 miles 17 hrs. 28 mins. From Leesburg, GA where I live now to Lebanon, KS it’s 1169 miles 19 hrs. 10 mins. ---
