I am not far from the center of the state. From here to Augusta is 75 miles, according to Google Maps. ---

I’m about 35 miles from the Michigan border. Of course, it’s a water border and the whole distance is over water, since I live on the shore. ---

If you count ocean crossings, the nearest border is the Bahamas at 83.3 miles. The nearest state border would be 312.4 miles. ---

As the crow flies, probably 40 miles to the Wisconsin state line, and something just under that to the Indiana state line. (It takes me just under an hour to drive to either one.) ---

Well, I live at almost exactly the geographic center of Washington state (the physical point is about a mile south of town). But I’m a mere ~150 miles from the Canadian border. Which I guess is also the northern state line… ---
