I’ve retired to the town I was born in. It’s about half a mile from my house to the building that housed the hospital. That building is now a college dormitory. ---

12 miles from the house I own now to the rough location of the hospital I was born at. I say rough because crazed villagers with torches and pitchforks tore the old University hospital down a few decades back and they built a new one a couple of blocks away. ---

By “place you were born”, do you mean your first home or literally the hospital? Because if we’re talking childhood houses, mine was about four blocks away from where I live now. ---

I live in fortpayne Al… the hospital i was born in got torn down and they built goverment apartments. I actually Live approximately 360feet from where i came in/o the world. Im 38 ---

You win I think. Upthread I said I lived 1.4 miles from the hospital I was born in, you are even closer. (That would be about 2.25 k) I also made a comment replying to a poster but that poster hadn’t been in the thread, and I can’t remember what it was about, and it doesn’t relate to distances. Strange. ---
