I come in at about 8960 Miles = 14420 km = 7785 nautical miles = 12.5 Time Zone Hours. Just 3440 miles short of the theoretical maximum. I wonder what the maximum distance is while staying in the northern hemisphere? Born: New Mexico Now: Hyderabad, India ---

I live about 4 kilometers from the hospital where I was born and I work just a kilometer away from it. ---

I was born in Jinan, China. I now live in Perth, WA. I also, at one point, lived in Vancouver, Canada. I am too tired to calculate how far apart these cities are, and no websites seem to want to do it for me. Maybe tomorrow. ---

Just shy of 1500 miles from my hometown of Seattle, as the (pick a bird) flies. I came up on the ferry through the Inside Passage, so the actual trip was a bit farther! (Six days and six nights on a yawing, wallowing tub with two small children was an adventure in hindsight, at the time, it sucked royally!) ---

But I’ve been told they sometimes do “other” (or was it “non-denominational”?) prayers, too. Still and all, if you’re an atheist, you’d probably want to go elsewhere for inpatient stays. ---

My wife was born on her mother’s 36th birthday. Her mom wanted to have her tubes tied, and the local Catholic hospital wouldn’t do that. She went to Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie instead.
