I didn’t take the test, but I’ve taken others and gotten 110. I’m not bad, but I really don’t type that fast casually, you know? 😛 I type around 50-75 comfortably. ---

It’s been a while since typing class when I was last timed, but as I recall, it’s around 60 to 70 wpm. Nowadays since my writing has a lot of embedded figures, formulas, and special formatting, I’m sure that my typing speed has dropped significantly. ---

My net was 71 (that’s what really counts, anyways). I took a typing test for a government job a few weeks ago and my net was 85 (the job was asking for 40 - I laugh at their proficiency requirements!). I must be having an off day. 🙂 ---

65/63 on the first attempt. 78/77 on the second. 82/80 on the third. I think we’ve reached the point of diminishing returns, Bob. But maybe I can squeeze out a little bit more if I weren’t using this crappy Dell keyboard. Good Org, this thing is about as sturdy as a Yugo on the Autobahn. Stranger ---

Gross Words Per Minute (GWPM): 83 Net Words Per Minute (NWPM): 82 Almost as fast as I tend to go when I’m not trying for reading comprehension and speed at the same time. But then, I tend to pound merry hell out of my keyboard on top of typing with my nails, so maybe a lighter touch would give me more speed? ---

GWPM: 102 NWPM: 97 I took another typing test a while ago and got 69 wpm, but I was nervous and thought I could do better. I’m tired and wasn’t always in a groove just now, but I’ll accept that the above is probably around my peak. ---
