7/10, although the last one was a guess just to finish the test…I saw nothing. But I’ll take the score, since the first two I got wrong (darkest orange and identical pink) I deny the official answers…the orange I chose was definitely darker, and the ‘right’ pink was noticeably darker than the two I chose. 😛 ---

I know for a fact that I’m color impaired but I still got 9 of 10. Two were pure guesses — the orange dots and red dots. The one I got wrong was the two pink shades. ---

I got 8/10, and failed on the ones where you have to insert the 3 colors. I was kinda borderline on them and could’ve probably got a 10/10 if my 50/50 went the other way. 5/10. But as someone said, this is more of a test of your screen. I was sort of surprised by the blue, all my kids were supposedly born with blue eyes, but damned if they didn’t look grey to me. ---

I simultaneously compared my mid-range Android phone with my good but old TN laptop display versus my desktop 30" IPS setup. Phone was 5/10 (and that was generous), laptop was 6/10, and desktop was 9/10 without breaking a sweat. ---

My color perception is well enough to know a shitty consumer grade LCD is not sufficient to do these types of tests. ---

8/10. It was a struggle throughout, and the last two were just impossible for me, I couldn’t see anything at all, due to my red-green colour blindness I assume. I have a pretty decent IPS monitor, so I can’t blame it. ---

I imagine my approaches - narrowing down the most likely choices, trying to figure out how they are trying to trick me - allowed me to do better on this test than my color vision alone would support. My wife teaches, and we’ve often discussed how difficult it is to devise a test that does not allow takers to “game the system” 😉 That Munsell hue test is the sort of thing I was referring to my wife and dtr excelling at. As I recall, the version I saw them do had MANY times the number of choices. ---

8/10 on the first try. I flunked the last two : I could sort of see a shape among the orange dots but not clearly enough to make out what it was. For the last one, I saw only red dots, all identical. To think that my family makes fun of me because I insist that one of my favourite sweaters in green (which it most certainly is) when they all agree it’s blue. I’ll have them try this test. It will show them :mad:. ---

Espaces, my mother has a different “color map” than the rest of the family. It’s not just blue vs green, it’s: _as I walk in_ NAVA! What color is the vase? Uhgscuseme? Which what vase where? _Pointing at the big vase in the entrance_ The vase! Oh… tourquoise. What? Turquoise. Well, or seagreen if you want. Between green and blue; a man could go either way. Mom: :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: Dad: 1.Bro and I said “green”; 2.Bro said “blue”; we all agreed it could actually be called either. SHE says it’s grey. Me: No WAAAAAY! ---

5 of 10, no surprise there. It’s why I refuse to take the Ishihara Test at my eye doctor. It’s just annoying and frustrating for me, and seemingly a source of endless fascination for the assistants who administer it. ---
