I’m friends with one of Jackson’s sons, with whom I worked for several years. My understanding is that Bo has a couple of business ventures, as well as being involved in running a couple of charities, particularly in Alabama – one of those is the “Bo Bikes Bama” charity bike ride.
Bo stuttered as a kid. He doesn’t do it now, but when I listen to him speak I get a sense that he would not be comfortable with extensive speaking engagements. I imagine that this would impact his interest in any broadcasting endeavors.
