I work in post-production. I’d say I’m about a 7 or 8.
Pros: Cool work, interesting and diverse co-workers, good benefits, commute is a 20-minute walk, I kick ass at it
Cons: Unpredictible workload, pay could be higher
Not bad, considering I sorta just fell into this job.
I’d give it a 7, most days. I’m talking about the main job, which is PT, teaching college students English comp. and more. What keeps it from being a 10? Well…construction that never ends, an awful lot of paper and take-home work, and the fact that I cannot get a freakin’ interview for a FT position no matter what.
I give my secondary job, assessment test scoring, a fat 9. No work to take home, just a few hours, fun colleagues, some very funny sentences, and I can snack and drink coffee all I want while I do the job.
