# How hard is it to get out of serving on a jury?

Unless they are the same dudes who jam up the PIT with their rants about “how stupid the jury was in this last case…” :rolleyes:

Besides you are not forced to: you can leave the country or refuse and do your time. You _are_ coerced into jury duty, but that only makes the pool more likely to be _your peers._

I don’t know how “forced” could be used in any context properly using your definition.

All I know is that I wouldn’t want anyone on my jury who has no interest in being there.
