Trump did admit to saying what he said on the tape, and he apologized. He said it was locker room talk. He addressed it again at the debate shortly afterwards. The fake news thing has only come up recently. As far as calling the women who came forward with personal stories about him “liars”, he did do that. I think Trump is a special case. People wanted to blow up the system. They would have voted for Pennywise, or a potted plant. They knew he was a lying bastard, but thought it wouldn’t affect them, or that it would be fun to watch the system break and didn’t care about the consequences. ---

No, you assume incorrectly. I mean “voters and other random dumb people who think Trump is awesome and can do no wrong” call CNN and other outlets “Fake News!” even when the news is simply a reporting of direct quotes by the President and other members of the US Government.
