Or Leo DiCaprio’s wife in \*Inception \*who, we’re told, had herself officially declared sane by multiple shrinks before she offed herself, at which point the viewer is apparently not supposed to immediately think “Who the hell does that, and isn’t it in and of itself proof that she was a few cards short of a full deck ?!” ---
