At least he wasn’t Palin. I liked McCain. I didn’t much care for Romney, but that was over policies and philosophy, he was competent even if I didn’t agree with all his stuff. After saying he wouldn’t take vacations as President and criticizing Obama for taking them (and spending taxpayer money for them), the Idiot In Chief is taking his 3rd weekend tripo to Mar-a-Lago at a potential cost to taxpayers of $3 million a trip. The hypocrisy, it burns. ---

I started to read NPR’s annotated transcript, but had to stop because my brain started trying to escape from my head. This administration is a fucking embarrassment. It would be less shameful if a random class of fifth graders visited the White House on a field trip and was asked to stay and run the country. At least then, we could smile at a press conference like this and think it was cute. Plus, we’d probably get EOs like “no more homework” and “pizza for dinner.” ---

They’re writing stuff like, “Please require forty minutes of independent reading a day,” “Please require kids to get more physical activity during the day,” “Please let us have a snack during end-of-grade tests,” and “Please make sure kids get to study science for an hour a day.” Their EOs would kick the hell out of Trump’s. ---
