One of the most ridiculous aspects of that story is that he hung a print of the painting in the White House. Couldn’t even be bothered to get the original. In the painting, he must be swapping war stories with Ike and Teddy Roosevelt. I presume he’s also telling Lincoln how a lot of people don’t know he was a Republican. ---

Nixon is sitting there with one of the only drinks that seems to unambiguously be alcohol. Roosevelt next to him looks like he is about to mount the summit of that table. Then there’s\*\* thump\*\* with an ice cold serving of his 11th Diet Coke that day. ---
