In case this hasn’t been covered yet: we’ve heard Michael Cohen state that he sent threatening letters to Trump’s schools to dissuade them from releasing his academic records (not that they would have anyway). But apparently back in 2011 when Trump was challenging Obama to release _his_ school transcripts, there was a similar effort by [Friends of Trump to actually remove his school records from his school](https://www.newsweek.com/president-donald-trumps-high-school-buried-his-academic-transcripts-grab-1352906). I’m guessing this isn’t because they were so wonderful they would have embarrassed everyone else. ---
