Actually I would have loved to have seen Ratcliffe answer questions about QAnon conspiracy theories, and how the entire US intelligence service is conspiring against his Dear Leader. Would have been interesting. ---

“S&P and Nasdaq post worst week of the year. Stocks finished the week in a dramatic fashion after President Trump on Thursday announced new tariffs on Chinese imports Thursday” I imagine the short sellers made out pretty well this week. Anybody care to guess which ones of Trump’s insider friends/relatives made some big bucks from short positions this week? Anyone? ---

There is a senior vice president in my company who has had way too much plastic surgery. After I first met her, I asked my boss if she had been in some horrible accident. Boss said no, she had done that to herself. I just can’t imagine how she can look in the mirror and not be absolutely horrified. Money goggles must be it. ---
