Besides, it would it be so much more satisfying if he suddenly dissolved into a puddle of boils and leprosy. Like he’s standing there doing his best Mussolini, and next he’s oozing over the podium, glorp, splat… Would totally restore my faith. ---

Of course I don’t wish assassination on him. I don’t believe in murder or the death penalty and I certainly don’t think he deserves martyrdom. Wishing death by disease is something else altogether. What I’d like for him is to be like that soldier in Airplane! who thought he was Ethel Merman. He’d be speaking at a conservative rally and rip off his suit to reveal a sequined gown and start belting out Everything’s Coming Up Roses as the top of his lungs, then whisked away to a padded room to live out his days cutting out paper dolls. ---
