I would like to point out that my home state has a balanced budget and a huge rainy-day fund (and is a net donor to the federal budget, not a beneficiary); one of the lowest COVID infection rates; and a governor proceeding cautiously and sensibly and driven by science and data. And he’s a Democrat. ---

It wasn’t explicitly invoked when he later underwent cancer surgery, either, although it was to all intents and purposes. It was explicitly invoked twice when George W. Mail came today. Consisted of a sales flyer and two letters for the wife and I from the Internal Revenue Service. Inside, I found my Personal Form Letter from Donald J. Trump, in which he explains to me how proud and happy he is to have signed the legislation that sent me a fraction of the money I would need to survive if I had lost my job. Since I paid taxes last year, basically, what happened is that he sent me a campaign letter… at my own expense. But, hey, free money! That I will have to pay back with my taxes!
