I have never wanted to beat the shit out of anybody more than Trump. What kind of person belittles disaster victims like that? I can’t even laugh any more at his immature tone-deaf behavior. I just want to see his guts strung out around Trump tower. A Mussolini death. Fat fucking piece of shit wig tumor. ---

[Here’s an old story](https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2017/03/13/donald-trumps-worst-deal) although I first heard of it just now. Azerbaijan is one of the most corrupt nations on the planet. A few years ago, the Trump Organization was closely involved with the construction of a TRUMP hotel in Azerbaijan’s capital — a bizarre luxury hotel which was never opened in a setting where nobody would want to stay. By cooperating with the corrupt officials who hired him, Trump may have violated the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act of 1977 and also, since the project was financed in part by Iran and its money-laundering schemes, U.S. sanctions against Iran. What’s confusing is - why did the corrupt Mammadov family want to build this silly hotel? - what was in it for Trump? Why did he commit crimes for a few millions of profit? The Mammadov family has stolen billions of dollars from their impoverished countrymen, so their losses on this project were easily afforded. The Mammadovs seem to cooperate closely with Iran who have used other overpriced projects in Azerbaijan to launder money. As for Trump, I think he got millions in management fees to compensate for the hotel’s huge losses. The Mammadov family chose Trump to do business with because other businessmen worried that involvement would violate laws like the FCPA mentioned above. Is there more to this story than meets the eye? Was it just Trump helping out a fellow billionaire kleptocrat? Based on what we’ve learned about Trump, I’ll guess that the whole project was just an example of Trump stupidity and disregard for law. But with Azerbaijan neighboring Russia, there might be more to this. ---
