# How has Terri Schiavo survived 13 days without water

It was my understanding that even with excellent conditions (no physical activity, almost no urine, room temperatures) that people could only last 10 or so days without water. How has she gone 13 days? Is it because she has no physical activity and as a result isn’t sweating much?
