There is [speculation](https://politizoom.com/trump-hasnt-agreed-to-dna-testing-yet-but-niece-marys-dna-might-do-just-fine-in-e-jean-carroll-case/) that Mary Trump might be willing to give DNA to the cause. It wouldn’t prove conclusively that it was Trump but it would narrow it down to blood relatives with at most 2 degrees of separation from Mary, and unless E Jean Carrol had an encounter with another Trump it would be quite the coincidence that it would be anyone but him. ---

Not only that, but circumstantial evidence carries the same weight as direct evidence in a court of law. The notion that circumstantial evidence is “lesser” evidence is one out of Hollywood. Nor would they use DNA from a relative when the person from whom they seek DNA evidence is available. Or can be made to be available. ---
