I know you didn’t expect anything less. I know I didn’t. Fortunately, the courts seem to be turning these delaying motions around very fast (for them) and I suspect this will be a quick briefing schedule, hearing and ruling. Trump and his team keep trying to make this a free speech issue. It’s not. Trump is a criminal defendant, and his liberty can be constrained by the courts in many ways to assure a fair trial – to both sides. ---

Also is this really going to delay the trial as a whole? This ruling doesn’t affect the way the trial is conducted, its only affects how much Trump can make an ass of himself outside of the court. The schedule for discovery, prep and jury selection should not be affected by the results of this hearing. ---
