He’s already had to put $5 million is escrow because he appealed the first verdict. And if he plans on appealing this second verdict he’s either going to have to put the full amount into escrow or get a bond (if someone will underwrite it) otherwise Carrol can immediately move to seize Trump’s property. It wasn’t that long ago people were saying Trump would never get indicted and now it looks like he seriously might go to prison. Unfortunately, he will also get a lot of extremely-low-information voters who were taught that The Kennedys helped bring about civil rights, and so (the low-info voters will reason), voting for this one will advance the interests of those traditionally less-empowered groups (non-white, basically). I would bet that Kennedy will take a few votes from Trump (mainly the ones mad about Donald getting vaccinated). But he will take many, many, many more from Biden. ---
