I still think that Trump believes that non-whites, females, LGBTQ+ people, and other white males are all just there to be taken advantage of. Figure out what they want, play them off against one another, make any promises you have to, get what you can from them, and move on to the next. ---

I noticed those speech patterns as well. People have suggested a form of carnival hypnosis. Seems reasonable for those at his rallies. trumpnosis. I feel naseous when I hear him speak, always hit mute or change program. As others here suggest, its his base and the asshat GOP enablers that are the scary thing. ---

In 2016 I can get that people were misinformed, and didn’t realize who they were voting for. In 2020, maybe they thought Biden would be worse, or didn’t realize how bad Trump was yet. In 2024 though, Trump is facing dozens of criminal charges. He is only running to evade prosecution. Anyone who votes for him now, in my opinion, is an accessory to his crimes and is despicable. ---
