It’s not some offhand comment, given during a rabble-rouser that he can claim was a joke. Trump can’t even claim ignorance of actual Democratic policy since 1) he has at times claimed to be one, 2) he was friends with famous Democrat, Bill Clinton and ran for president on his suggestion, 3) he appointed his Democratic son-in-law as a key member of his policy task force, and 4) worked as the President, talking to and negotiating with Democrats every day for four years. I don’t see a hard-to-win case on this. ---

It’s defamation against every Democratic voter. (I’m sure not legally actionable, but that’s what it feels like). Same thing with the constant accusations of being a groomer or a pedophile. I wish there was some recourse against these kinds of slanders. ---

I wish I could still be surprised when I see real world proof that Trump’s cult is damaging people psychologically in very real ways.
