Instead, it seemed like the justices were asking very pointed, specific, yes/no questions; maybe to keep some control of the narrative (or make the weaseling more blatant). I haven’t heard enough of these oral arguments to know if this is the way they usually go. ---

I always suspect it’s because they’re justices, not litigating attorneys trying to trip up the opposing counsel’s witness. That’s beneath her. She got her answer. But she needs to keep in mind that I’m listening and would get tremendous satisfaction hearing that guy have to acknowledge her point without any ambiguity. 😄 ---
