I like how the site has “Let’s Go Brandon” all over it. I get that the knife is _70% off!_ but you have to order it to find out how much it costs. “If you have to ask …”, I guess. ---

This tactic is useful in assembling a list of suckers. No doubt the Trump people already have such a list, but they’re always looking for more additions. I’m not sure the way it works in the Internet era, but back in mail-order days, sucker lists were worth big money. Of course buying something “70% off” without knowing “off WHAT” didn’t work back then because people had to send in checks, so had to know what to write on them. So they used criteria like “buying a dedicated nose-hair clipper when nail scissors work fine” to assemble such lists. Lots of advertisers today still use the “70% off” with no mention of what the original price is, sadly. If it’s for something non-Trump-related I guess the click itself might put the clicker on a sucker list. But a lot of people would click on the Trump-related ones out of curiosity about his latest grift—so such clicks don’t help in assembling a sucker list. ---

Here’s Trump’s message. He is absolutely incapable of posting a normal holiday message. He has to recap in detail every grievance he has since the last one. What really amazes me about his grievance postings is that he goes into such detail about his reasons for being innocent, like in the Jean Carroll stuff from today (and did he defame her again?). He is so afraid that his stupid fans will forget, he has to always include everything he wants them to think about it when he brings up a subject.
