Not pissed off, but of course the depressing part of all of his idiocy is that it doesn’t matter. Millions of people think he’s the Chosen One, and he’ll possibly dance consequence-free into the White House, and I’m not even they’re wrong. It’s enough to turn me into a misanthrope. She has many choices. I think Melania will take one of those ‘different’ living arrangements whether Donald wins OR loses. If he gets in, he’s now President-for-Life. (Granted he may let some time go by before making that official—he’ll need a big overseas war or a giant US civil conflict to justify it.) In any case, Melania has no reason to pretend to be part of a traditional White House. He will agree to pay her off in return for her silence about anything that could embarrass him. She will be based in Slovenia with Barron, perhaps, while living a jet-set life, touring Russia and other dictator-led lands with maximum glamor. If he’s on house-arrest: pretty much the same, though perhaps on more of a budget. She still has leverage due to things she could reveal about him. She can demand to have her separation from him adequately funded. If Donald lives, either in the White House or in Mar-a-Lago, he will exert influence and have access to cash. If nothing else, the vast army of the low-IQ MAGA faithful will continue to keep him in berders and bronzer. ---
