But it’s also important to him for what the committee’s final report will say - that the investigators conspired to hurt Trump by harassing innocent patriots who had been politely trying to right the wrong from the stolen 2020 election. Which he won (oh wait, that’s being investigated by a different committee). ---

Up to a point, yes. In the short term, it can be couched as figuring out how to appropriately direct spending with a new incoming administration. I’m fairly sure that’s how they’re trying to play this. In the long term, if that funding is not spent, well, that depends on the courts and Congress providing oversight, and I’m not so confident in that part. ---

Surely Jack had a lot of top lawyers on his team, so now the trump DoJ will be without all that talent.
