Probably above my pay grade (more like David Mamet territory) but I think there’s a fabulous play to be written about the private conversations Trump and Putin (and their translator) had, in which Putin plays him like a toy, giving him the impression that they’re equal partners, splitting up the world, engaging him in mock-macho boasting (“Of course, I will think of myself as the premier partner, and you as secondary, as I’m sure you will think the same”) and totally owning the simple-minded douchebag. ---

Money-- highly visible money (even if it’s mostly on paper)-- is the proof that you are the best. That’s how you show them that you are a winner and they are a loser. When someone else gets something or achieves something, it takes away from him. They are _stealing_ what is rightfully his (like the Presidency). The idea that someone besides him should make money (or gain recognition) from pictures of HIM is outrageous! That woman is stealing not just money but public adulation that is rightfully his!
